Gathering signatures to save Sydenham Crown Post Office
Cllr Joan Millbank and I showed our support for the Sydenham Crown Post Office and the CWU this morning. "We will not let our Crown Post Offices be taken away from Lewisham," said Cllr Paul Bell. "Franchising everything so that the executives get bigger bonuses while the local community loses out, is not happening here in Lewisham."
Along with the big CWU balloon, Hettie the dog and senior lay members
from the CWU, with ward councillors Liam Curran and Chris Best, Cllr Hall and the local community a clear message was sent to the Post Office that our Crown Post Offices are here to stay.
