Millwall, land CPO view
Many people have emailed me about the CPO proposals at tonight's Lewisham Council cabinet meeting. I do not sit on cabinet. {Cabinet members are appointed by the Mayor. The Mayor will not be taking part, as he has a conflict of interest).
My view: I do not support the CPO of land on this site. I believe an agreement can be reached. Millwall FC is an asset to the Borough. But, this is just my view. It will be a very difficult decision for my co-councillors to make tonight.
