- St. James Hatcham: £0.3M-New Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting, junior block alterations & infant corridor remodelling, main entrance security.
3) GCSE results - 42.5% in Telegraph Hill getting 5 good GCSEs in 1997. Figure now 98.1%
4) Set up the Young Mayor scheme and Young Citizens' Panel - over 50% turnout at last election.

Economy
1) 400 jobs in public and third sector created by Future Jobs Fund for 18-24 year olds unemployed for more than 6 months
2) Apprenticeships scheme set up. Labour pledge locally is to expand the number of apprenticeships available.
3) Council Tax frozen. Labour pledge is for Council Tax not to rise higher than inflation.
4) Expanded Small Business Advisory service
Environment and Parks
1) Community Gardens scheme recently set up allowing residents to use municipally owned scraps of land for growing food.
2) Garden Waste recycling point opened on Kitto Road, Telegraph Hill.
3) Telegraph Hill Park - former toilet block refurbished - now houses new toilets and park keeper offices. Park awarded Green Flag in 2005/6
